After an upgrade of the OpenVMS operating system, if the upgrade did not include a sufficiently up to date version of the HP Pascal RTL, then you will need to reinstall a newer version; see Appendix A for details.

After an upgrade of the OpenVMS operating system, you should issue the commands:

$ @PMDF_COM:link_username.com $ @PMDF_COM:link_pmdfaudshr.com

These will relink two PMDF images which have OpenVMS system symbol table dependencies (and thus will probably need to be relinked when you change major release version of OpenVMS).
