1.6 Accessing LDAP or X.500 Directories

LDAP and X.500 directories provide a means of looking up mail addresses for other users at your site.^d If your system manager has configured PMDF to use an LDAP or X.500 directory, then you can use PMDF's pop-up LDAP/X.500 addressing form to look up addresses from within PMDF MAIL or VMS MAIL.^e
